    •  
    The Wi-Fi Occupancy Network (WON) provides reliable occupancy monitoring for home, office, or industry.  Utilizing 802.11b Wi-Fi technology, the system provides the capability to monitor occupancy status from virtually anywhere.  Use our custom software application to configure and monitor one or more spaces including rooms, office spaces, secure areas, etc.  The system is expandable, allowing any number of detectors to be added to the network. Available sensors include both wall- and ceiling-mount motion/occupancy detectors.  The WON is well-suited for a number of applications including the following:

  • Detector System

    The WON is a custom-integrated unit that features infrared motion sensor and network Wi-Fi interface, which are separately contained and connected by link cable.  The sensor detects motion and communicates status to the interface where it is transmitted to Wi-Fi enabled computer(s) and wireless access points.  Once the client PC or laptop has received the status information, it can then process the data for display, logging, etc.  The Wi-Fi interface is completely configurable and supports a number of protocols including UDP, TCP, etc. 
     
     

     External connections are provided for antenna, optional wired LAN, and A/C power. 



  • Infrared Sensors
    •  
    The detectors are PIR motion sensors capable of monitoring an entire room or zone and are easily installed.  They receive power from the Wi-Fi interface and therefore do not require a separate power source.  The sensor attaches to the Wi-Fi interface via link cable.  No additional wiring is needed.
